Well it’s the end of another week and here I go again on my own. Going down the only road I… well, you know the rest.
This week has been fun. The Live Show on Monday was another awesome one. We had a lot of fun and talked about a lot of stuff. Epiconline, Brokenshovel, Dan and the Salsa brothers made it interesting. Not to mention a lot of others that stopped by to say hi.
Later in the week I got an interesting phone call. I cannot say much about it but I will say that it can be very helpful in future Live show episodes. Another great reason to watch.
In the movie “Man of the Year”, we saw a flawed Computer Voting System error a Comedian into the prominent role as President. In real life there can be no nationwide contract for voting machines. Each state regulates how it’s going to let voters partake in elections and whether it will comply with Federal standards.
However, more ballot space and a call for multi-language support along with disability-assisted systems are making the old systems obsolete. A true computerized version can bring on speculation of miscalculation – which is no different than voting machines of the past. We just trade gears and rubber bands with chips and disk space. So when will we start to see a 100% computerized voting system?
The idea of email in the office is to give employees a communication portal to their customers and other employees. Corporate email is an advantage that helps everyone stay in touch. There are still some companies that do not give all their employees email addresses. Some of them don’t need it.
A Federal Appeals court in California ruled that businesses that contract an outside source cannot just ask to see the records of an employee, unless the employee signed a waiver. Therefore if you don’t sign something, they can’t look at it without your permission, although they pay for it. Is that really fair?

Like a lot of you, I’ve been working hard all morning on the computer. Staring at a screen for hours can really take it’s toll. If you are still using a CRT monitor, your eyes straign even more than those using an LCD. So this lunch time get some food, and workout a little: on your eyes.
When you focus on a fixed item for a period of time, your eyes will strain. It’s kinda like if you picked up a box around 5-10 pounds. Try holding it up for 5 to 10 minutes. Your muscles at first might be comfortable with the box weight, but after a couple minutes, the box seems to get harder to hold up in the same position.
With the 24 hour download period coming close to an end, we ask the question – will you be or have you downloaded FireFox3 to set a new Guinness Worlds Record? Poll closes on 6/25

Well, Mozilla.org is not doing too well. It, at times, is getting the same error that Amazon got last week. http/1.1 Service Unavailable.
But never worry and never fear, for we have a link for you to get the new browser. It’s here:
