Here it is – the official Geekazine version of the Lenovo ThinkCentre M90z. In association with 25 other websites giving away M90z, we have our own contest to give away this great machine. Now, you have your chance to enter and win.

How to Enter to Win the Lenovo M90z

Contest Timeline: April 29, 2011 to May 3rd, 2011.

There are two parts to this contest.

  1. Record a “Bumper” video and email
  2. Tweet that you recorded said video

First part is simple – Take a look at the beginning of this video – It’s Gary Vaynerchuck doing a promo. Get in front of a web cam, Flip, Kodak or Sony hand camera, or whatever you have to record video. You can record either statement:

This is Gary Vay-Ner-Chuck and you are watching Geekazine

or

This is (Your Name and Website) and you are watching Geekazine

Although there are no points for creativity, I will be really appreciative for any video that goes above and beyond. You could even do one, also thanking Lenovo. You can then email your entry to Geekazine at gmail dot com.  Subject: Lenovo M90z Contest (Your Twitter Handle).

These 5 second videos, even at 1080p, should be less than 5 MP, therefore able to email. If you do something larger, I would suggest using a service like YouSendIt. Please nothing more than a couple minutes if you get creative (I still have to sort through the videos).  No YouTube or Facebook submitted videos. I need to have full access to the video, so I can put it in a montage at the end of the contest. You can put it on a web server and send me the link – as long as I can download the video.

Remember – if you have an iPhone, Android, Blackberry or other smartphone (or tablet), you can most likely record the video right from there.

Second part is where you get on Twitter. Follow Geekazine, then post the following tweet:

Winner will be drawn at random, May 4th

I will announce the winner from all entries received. I will draw randomly, then check to see if compliance on Twitter. If non-compliance, I will draw another name.

Joomla or Drupal? Help me choose a new CMS and win.

I am working with a couple people on separate websites. I am also thinking about launching a new website. In the past I have used both Joomla and Drupal. While it’s nice to know both worlds, I should pick one and run with it. Problem is – I am not sure which one to choose.

So help me make the selection. Give me a good reason why I should choose the Content Management System. Heck, if you feel I should think about another CMS, don’t be afraid to let it out.
