On Tuesday, I went to take a shower like I normally do. Water wasn’t cold, but it wasn’t hot. I finished and got out, then went down to the water heater. Pilot light was out. OK - relight and move on, which is what I did.
Wednesday the shower was once again not that hot. I figured it was because I didn’t turn up the heater to the regular level. I left it alone, but found out later the pilot light went out again.

The first paragraph goes out to my Aunt Edie. She passed away earlier this morning. I got to spend some time with her one summer when I was in grade school. At the time she owned an actual food concessions trailer. She would drive it to each location and serve the workers lunch, then close up and drive on back home. I learned how to play backgammon from Edie.
Later in life, Edie and Uncle Ed, along with the kids, moved to a horse farm North-East of here. We had a few family get-togethers at the farm. The horses were being raised for the Kentucky derby, so they were rigorously trained.
For that, I bid adeau to my aunt. She lived a solid life and taught me a few things. I won’t forget it.

This week was a special one for Geekazine. The main podcast - which pretty much started the site - started up one year ago. I talked about it on the Podcast - it feels good to have worked on something for 52 weeks and eventually create a great website in Geekazine.
Now while the Podcast is one year old, Geekazine still has a few weeks to go. That launched on November 7th, 2007. We’ll be highlighting that, too.

It’s been a long day and a long week. It’s not over. I have a small window, so I’m posting this quick.
Let’s start on Monday. We had a great LIVE Show discussion on Heroes and Android. Thanks to all that participated. Next week we’ll be doing another live show. Call in questions now 608-205-4378
The Podcast went well this week. All quickcasts went great as well. On Friday I had some free time so I asked if anyone wanted to do an interview. Walt Ribeiro (Daily Music Lesson with Walt) responded. An hour later we were up on Skype talking away. The interview is on Walt’s uStream and the audio podcast will be published next week.

Today was suppose to be a relaxing day. I was going to catch up on work and get items ready for next week. I ran into an article on security which I decided to read.
In the article, they suggested to convert my tables from wp_ to something else. I thought that would be a pretty straightforward process. I backed up my MySQL database, then changed the SQL to the new prefix. I Imported those tables straight into the same database - basically it doubled the size of the table, but I had a safeguard to go back to.

Last Festival of the year. We’re playing tonight in the Dells for what will most likely be my last outdoor gig of the year. It’s a little gloomy today, but it’s not too bad - Weather is not cold. It will be a great time tonight.
LIVE SHOW was great as we discussed a lot. Thanks to all the new viewers as well as the regulars for making another show great.
