Today’s Backchannel video from the Consumer Electronics Show was when I stopped by the AIPTEK booth. I used the AIPTEK 720P to shoot all my video. We talked with AIPTEK about their newest cameras, as well as their new mini projectors.

We look at the AHD z700 which is the newest model for only $229.

On the Primary channel, I went through the Roland Booth and played drums with Johnny Rabb. However, we also looked at the BOSS Micro BR Digital Studio. It is a device that gives you the ability to have accompaniment while playing.

You can put in MP3’s and practice your favorite songs. If it’s too fast, you can slow down the riffs and get it right.

We were in the upper area of the CES hall overlooking the Intel Booth. Todd Cochrane talks with Russ and Tyler about the newest Blue Mics.

Sony works hard on their Notebooks. Small but functional. The Vaio Notebook with 3G, as well as the Sony software that PS3 owners know well.

Sony had a big booth. Of course, Sony has a lot to show off. But Todd Cochrane found the Webbie HD Camera, which lets you record in .mp4 AVC H.264 AAC compression.

Last year, Chumby came out with the little bag device where you can get Internet anywhere there is a wireless connection. This year Chumby was working on new Digital Frames and the content within.

Chumby is working on the software rather than the hardware. They are looking for vendors to put the Chumby software on their frames. You will be able to put video, pictures, audio or search the web. Best part is there is a communication feature to send pictures to mom.
