I didn’t get a good chance to spend time at Geek Kon this year due to the schedule. That’s why I put down thoughts rather than a review. What I did make of it was pretty good. Lots of die-hards attended and most in costume.

I downloaded the SDK (Software Development Kit) the other day to play with Android. Although it’s not an HTC G1, it will definitely give me an idea of what to expect. I am hoping it will go on an older phone. We’ll see.

For the last 6 months, Geekazine has been using OpenID to try and give people another way to comment on the articles. Ever since, there have been problems with this plugin. Error logs going off the chart in what I can only determine as bots using the interface.

I passed by the old Comp USA store in the area yesterday. It looked so lonely. The other shops in the mall were bustling - the Party City next door was getting ready for Halloween and the Target was doing it’s normal influx of customers.
