Web Sites I go to Daily
Podcasts
These are the shows I listen to for news and a lot more.
Todd was a inspiration to start Geekazine. I knew I was going to switch from a Music Podcast to a Geek one, but GNCP gave me a good guideline to go off of.
Andy McKaskey creates a great newscast on a daily basis. It’s like NPR for Geeks. No flash or opinion, just news.
Paul mixes Tech with Coffee. Half the podcast is tech news and the other is Coffee news. Good mixture for me, and it is a good change of pace at times.
Norbert Davis outlines the coolest gadgets out there. His podcasts are short and informative.
Dustin runs down the news of the hour while also pointing to some other great sites. OK, yeah. Geekazine is one of those sites, but why not talk about something great?
It’s always good to get a view from another country. Sometimes you can get a tunnel vision of sorts and need a different perspective. TWA (hey, it’s like the Airline!) has some good news and information I can listen to.
For the IT Pro, Rick Savoia focuses on Tech. With news, interviews and a whole lot more, it’s a great show to get caught up with.
A bit of caution on this podcast because it is a “Mature Audience” show. It is done by a good friend of mine (I was the best man at her wedding). I won’t link to it because of the content, but I will link to a Google Search so you can get to the show. Remember – it is a podcast that talks about sex, so it is for mature audiences only, but I do listen to it, so I didn’t want to exclude it because of the content.
Views from the Road. That is what I get from the show. He does a great job in talking and driving. In fact, the hum of the rig first is noticeable, but within time it gets to be calming.
In the last page, I will outline the Blogs I go on to get news and more.
