Last year I found out I had high blood pressure. Since then, I have incorporated more exercise, suppliments and other techniques to lower the Systolic and Diastolic to 120/80. I have been doing good, as my blood pressure has come down considerably.
I have been checking my own blood pressure at home, too. I bought a cuff from the local pharmacy, and use it on a daily basis. I have also been using BPMonitorHD by taconic to keep track of it. This is a simple chart of your blood pressure, with live graphs and full statistics. It even tells me it’s time to check the blood pressure.
Best part – you can set it up for the whole family. Switch users, and enter in the numbers. That way, if there are a few people in the house with high blood pressure, you can keep track on one app.
There is a free version, and a paid app.
