If you are like me, you run a lot of programs on your iPad. I don’t normally turn push notifications on, so when I close apps, they don’t run in the background. However, you might find down the road that your iPad battery life is getting shorter. That is where Carat comes in.
Carat is an iPad app that monitors the apps running. That way, you know if an application is taking up too much process. You can then fix the problem, and get back much needed battery time.
Carat also monitors bugs and hogs in programs so you are aware that new app is causing problems. You then remove the app, reboot your iPad, and go from there.
Carat did crash a couple times while I was recording the video. For the most part it was stable. Another thing to be aware of – Carat gets information from your iPad so it can create reports. If you don’t want that to happen, the best thing would be not installing this program
Carat is free and available now. It also works for your iPhone.
