Well, this week I’m writing on Sunday. Long weekend and a lot of extra work I had to get done. Also had to go out and enjoy the first real nice weekend. Today we sat out on the back patio and cooked brats and just soaked up the sun.

This week was pretty slow. No live show because of Memorial day, but will be doing it this Monday at 7 PM EST. Put on your thinking caps, because I want to talk about a few things.

Been doing some writing over on GeekNewsCentral. Check out the latest post - What’s in it for Icahn. I pretty much outline what could be Carl Icahn’s reasoning for pushing the proxy fight with Yahoo. Let me know what you think.

I missed doing the 5 minute show this week because of the schedule. Monday’s show will be done later tonight (hopefully). No Vocalo this week. Of course the focus is always the main podcast, and that will be done no matter what on Tuesday for Wed. release.

Ran into a couple problems. First, my Federal taxes are still in void - apparently I did something else wrong, but wont know about it til I get the letter. I hope to expedite that. First and last time I do my own taxes, I guess. Not as easy as when I filled out the EZ forms.

Job front has still got me baffled. Been waiting on a couple opportunities, however I don’t know if they are going forward with anybody due to slower production.

Last week I got a new laptop for a project I am working on and I gotta say that even though it’s only a Celeron 1.8gHz machine, it does a great job. I don’t know if I can go back to my old Gateway 600mHz. Don’t get me wrong - that is a great laptop and it is now stationed in the living room. It’s just all about the speed issues.
