First of all, when you say FUJI, you think cameras, right? Well, this is a different company but they have been around for a long time. Todd Cochrane conducts this interview into a new technology that makes disposable batteries safe to throw away.

These are not rechargeable batteries. They are Eco Friendly – No Cadmium, no Mercury and no PVC. They are made with “Eco-Friendly Battery Plants”. When I hear that, I think the Professor from Gilligans’ Island putting together a power source using Bamboo, coconuts and palm leaves.

FUJI’s approach sounds exciting. If they make a battery that is powerful and safe, then this could be an enterprising technology without having to be stranded on a desert island.
