If an Operating System was an Alcohol…

In tradition of the “Bob” game….

For this week I thought I would put out something fun. Most of the articles focus on current events, and I noticed that we didn’t have anything that you can have a good chuckle over.  And the best part, it can be an ongoing list.

Now just so you know, I decided to do a little research on this to try and match the best alcohol with the best OS. Of course, you may have your own ideas or opinions. If you do, PLEASE COMMENT. If your argument is good, then I will make a change or add to the list.

Always remember – Compute, and drink responsibly. And if you’ve computed or drank too much, please find a designated driver. Must be 21 to drink, but any age can compute.

Shots

Palm – Lemon Drop – sweet, but you may get sour from time to time on how it works.

Android – Hard to say since this hasn’t come out yet, but on first thought, it would be a Kamakazie

LiMo – Tequila. With the Salad Bar.

Pocket PC – Dr Mcgillicuddy’s. Straightforward shot with a minty burst.

iPhone – Hot Sex. It’s all about the design.

Alcohol:

DOS - Beer. Simply put – it’s got many types out there, and it’s the basic system.

OS/2 – Jaegermeister – Strong feel, but you don’t want to drink it all the time.

Sun (Solaris) – Gin, it can sometimes be dry, and makes a good martini.

AS/400 – Whiskey, it’s plain and complex at the same time.

Linux – Vodka. Because you may need a lot if you are running into problems….

Mac – A Chardonnay. It is seen as a “rite of passage”. It’s a sparkling wind and has an interesting body to it.

Windows – This actually was the toughest one to figure out. I think the end result would have to be Rum. Rum comes in so many different flavors, and it’s the drink of Pirates.

Spam Bust Brings Spam Down - Is That A Good Thing?

No, I am not an advocate of Spam. I am an advocate of controlled email. If you ask for it, you should get it, but it doesn’t mean you should get your email shared for so called “3rd party” affiliates. For if they are no longer and affiliate, do they still have your email address? [...]
