Recon Instruments makes a pair of goggles called Transcend. They are GPS enabled goggles that track your movements. Just connect via USB and get your data. You even have a small LCD display to get maps and data.

Bluetooth or wireless connection to camera can help you record your trips. This device is available, but the newest version will be available by late 2011.
