Go ahead – Throw something at my big 50″ TV. I don’t mind. Well – maybe not a crossbow or anything, but let’s not go overboard with it. A water bottle? Good idea.

Actually, at this booth that is what we did. Todd Cochrane talked with the guys at TV Armor as Andy McCaskey decided to throw a water bottle at it. Not a scratch or smash.

But Andy felt that first try was a little weak, so he did it again. This time he took a bigger swing and almost knocked the candy jar over! Bad Andy!

It might not be a water bottle. As Bobby Brady always said “Mom always said – don’t play ball in the house”. It’s a good point – but at least it won’t smash in the LCD monitor.

Well, it’s day 1 and we have walked through half the Sands convention center with cameras in hand. Todd, Andy, Andy and myself took the morning to record the first half of the floor. We found some pretty interesting booths and did some great interviews. I am downloading some of the content as we speak.

We also talked to a couple companies that dealt with e-readers, LED lighting systems, Mogulus, TV-armor and one of the products I was waiting for in Vuzix (oLED technology). With the four man team, we were able to get some great content.
