Trying to get work done today so I can sleep in and eat Turkey tomorrow. In the meantime, here is a small Bitstrip I created to wish everyone a Happy Turkey Day. I know that some of you don’t celebrate, but nonetheless, you should take some time out and think about what you are thankful for.
I would like to thank the following people:

Todd Cochrane – Geek News Central
Andy McCaskey – SDR News
Norbert Davis – Totally Cool Tech Podcast
Mike Smith – Mike Tech Show

Cal Mazzara – PC/Mac Smackdown
Cali Lewis – Geek Brief TV
Cliff Ravenscraft – GSPN
Brett Hiley – Hiweb
Steven Heywood – The Tech Buzz
There are so many more I could thank including all who came on to be interviewed. I would also like to thank those who contributed – Brie, Frank, Art and James come to mind.
So without any further ado, here is the Bitstrip:
On my podcast, I ran through a TechTweak to continue a download if the download is taking a longer time. Little did I know that issue was more Firefox than receiving packets.
When I was beta testing Firefox, I noticed that downloading files took a lot longer and caused the browser to actually run slower. I posted a bug report on Mozilla.org. I mentioned that I downloaded several items via Firefox and IE, and I saw IE not only did a better job in downloading, it did not affect my browsing habits. I also told them I had seen this happen on more than one machine and plugins do not make any difference. They said (in so many words) this was not a big issue and marked the case “Unconfirmed”.
