orbit

Sometimes I think about all the places I have contact information. Phone, Facebook, Twitter, etc. So when we saw Orbit and their iPhone application, I was blown away.

Orbit will allow you to manage many of your social media connections from one application. It’s organizes the mess. The best part is before you call them, you can find out what they are doing. Depending on their blurbs, you might not need to call them and find out what’s going on.

Andy McCaskey talks with Rich about the iPhone Application that is not only really exciting, it’s also free (with a Premium option coming soon). Rich shows the “Volume Control” which can turn down the social clutter if you don’t want to hear how many guns one person needs from Mafia Wars or if someone needs seeds for their Farmville.

I just don’t get it -

This is the line I heard today from a fellow IT person. He then proceeded to say “The younger people do it more. I guess it’s not a part of my generation”.

Wait a minute. I remember an article that says older people DO like twitter. But they are not staying on twitter. So who is right? Read the rest of this entry »
