Goodbye, Steve Jobs. Thanks for all the Fish….

As you probably heard by now, Steve Jobs – Apple CEO – has stepped down from that role. They initiated an executive order and Tim Cook took over as CEO. Steve instantly became Chairman of the Board. “Steve’s extraordinary vision and leadership saved Apple and guided it to its position as the world’s most innovative and valuable technology company,” said Art Levinson, Chairman of Genentech, on behalf of Apple’s Board. “Steve has made countless contributions to Apple’s success, and he has attracted and inspired Apple’s immensely creative employees and world class executive team. In his new role as Chairman of...

History of Apple: Goodbye Steve Jobs, Hello Steve Jobs.

Ultimately, Apple agreed and Steve stepped down as CEO of the Apple Mac division. 4 months later, Steve decided to leave Apple to start NeXt – a new computer company. The NeXt OS was released in 1989 and the NeXtstation and NeXtCube in 1990. Jobs built it into a decent powerhouse while Apple continued to struggle....
