The 2009 Podcast Awards are live. Geekazine is looking to be part of that.Therefore I ask you go over to the site and nominate Geekazine for some of the categories.

However, I would ask that if you nominate a Geekazine show, it be the Day in Tech History. You can nominate for People’s Choice, Best produced, Business, Education, General and Technology/Science.

Of course, I would not be upset if Geekazine Podcast or Quickcast were nominated as well.

I know a few of you nominated Geekazine Podcasts for the 2008 PodcastAwards – I appreciate it very much. Although we didn’t get a nomination bid, we are still proud to be part of the process.

The next step is on Oct 23rd, go vote for your favorite podcasts. There are a lot of them, so choose wisely. I will be making my picks later this week.

Also, if you are a business – Why not donate a prize? It is great exposure to your company. You can also talk with them about sponsorship – it’s not too late.

So get ready to vote with no debates and no SNL skits attached.
