The big word of the week is “RAIN”. We got a lot of it. It pretty much slowed everything down to a crawl yesterday. The main Interstate was closed for only a few mile stretch, but in order to get everyone to their destination, they had to go on the only alternate route. And that was already crippled because of construction.

So driving up north last night went from a 1 hour trip to 3. Today is not better, for someone apparently caused a big accident on that only road. I think I’ll just fly in….

I’ve been playing with a band called “The Trailer Kings”. Pretty cool stuff – all straightforward cover music. We had fun at the Edge of the Dells last night and tonight it’s the Baja (If I can get to it). Will be lots o fun. I may need a place to crash tonight though….

Every year I participate in what is called “February Album Writing Month”, or FAWM found at www.fawm.org. The challenge is to write 14 songs in 28 days. However, there are 29 days this year, so I have to write 14.5 songs in 29 days.
