The last part of this series, Jeffrey Powers gets a tour of the Ford assembly plant in Dearborn, MI. There, we learn about how this assembly line has changed. Not only can this plant create gas cars, but also Hybrids and Electric cars on the same assembly line.

This is the first in the world. Because of this, Ford can bring a lot of manufacturing back in-house. This also cuts costs for making the cars and jobs can be re-claimed from outsourcing that was in Mexico.

We look at how the electric batteries are cared for, then installed into the car. We get to see the assembly line in action in this video.
