Geekazine podcast rocks! It’s nice knowing about the latest tech news so I can outgeek my friends and bring things up before they do!
I like how you break out the “this week in tech history” into its own 5-min segment; any longer than that would be difficult for an ADD-er like myself. The parody songs are entertaining and fun. Great variety. I haven’t been able to participate in the live show because it’s normally while I am at work, but maybe someday I’ll play hooky and run to the nearest WiFi cafe and check it out. Thanks for the good listening that keeps me entertained while I am exercising, working at my computer, etc. KEEP IT UP! \m/
Hey Jeff,
Got your site off of Twitter. When thinking about stuff to say about the website and show, I think my biggest feedback would be that the sidebars are very cluttered. My personal taste is a bit more subtle and streamlined but I understand needing to make a living.
If you’re looking to do a redesign, I might look into a 3 column where the content is all the way to the left, then you have your media links and nav, then reserve the 3rd column at far right for adverts and sponsorship. I like that sort of optimization if you will.
I’ve started looking back at the shows and enjoy them. It seems you and I have similar problems with encoding quality just ravishing the file when converting to MP3 - are you using Audacity?
Best,
James Connors

Mr. Powers, you have one awesome show. You keep the topics interesting and very informative. Now that I’ve said that, I would like a Zune please, and thank you.
I have to thank Jeff for helping me out back at the beginning of the year when I had a bout with laryengitis. He, and others, helped actually do my podcast for about 1 week. I discovered Jeff’s site and show and was hooked. Great info and nice Ustream show and chat.
Hi Jeff, I was the guy in Ustream today watching the re-takes over and over… Keep up the great work and I’ll send you a invite to my first live Ustream recording…:).. Cheers, Tybee Guy
I would like to comment on the UStream vidcast. I want to say that it is really good looking video, the sound is ok. But I would suggest getting rid of the wacky graphics. If you wanted to have a “screen shot” area that would be cool. But all the other stuff changing and moving is really distracting. Also, do you script (outline) out your show? I would suggest that you do that if you don’t already. I have watched and noticed that you are talking about something, then you read something on-screen. I know it can be hard since you might not have another for a live audeince, but remmember that if people find you, they will want to see previous shows. Other then that, keep up the good work. BTW, I honestly didn’t know you were a geek till a couple months ago.
Good job with the bitstrips. That’s one of the reasons (among many) that I keep coming back to the site.
BTW, what happened to the previous comments to this post? It says there are 12 responses before this one, but I can only see 2 other responses?
Hey Jeff… I found your podcast while on the Tech Podcast Network. I’ve always liked the latest in gadgets and gizmos. So I added you into my que. I’ve only listened to episode 30 and like what you have there.
Keep up the good content
I want a zune but i dont have enough money
